Slurries: Slurries has the most amount of liquid-solids. slurries controls the environment.
Plain water: Plain water are water that we use everyday, like taking a bath, drinking and others.
salt water: Salt water has the most amount of water in the world, because it covers our ocean.
gasoline: gasoline is a fuel to our transportation. it helps our daily lives.

ReplyDeleteliquid is very important because it had many different purposes, it could help us in our daily lives.It coulld help people by: powering our cars,keeping our body healthy,etc. Some liquids can also help scientist do their researches.
Characteristic OF LIquid
-it flows
-it is not easily compressed
-it take the shape of it's container
-it has a deffinite volume not shape
-it cannot be cut
-it is quite difficult to control
Our LIquid Experiment
aim: TO find out about which molecules move faster,HOt water or COLD water?
Materials:
-hot water -cold water
-2 plastic cups -2 food coulourings
Steps:
1. First, pour the hot water to the plastic cup.
2. Then, pour the cold water to the other plastic cup.
3. Next put 2 drops of food colourings to both of the plastic cup on the same time.
4. Observe what happen
Observation:
As we observe, the food colouring spread faster in the hot water than in the cold water.
Because.....
The molecules in the hot water moves faster than the molecules in the cold water.
Conclusion:
We conclude that the molecules in the hot water moves faster than in the cold water.

ReplyDeleteI think this unit 2 project was soo fun, I really liked it!!! It was fun learning about liquids with my group. I learned to work cooperatively with my group and also learned some research skills.Awesome!!!
